Old Forge Drill School 5K Run/Walk
4th Annual Old Forge Drill School 5K run/walk. This event is to help raise money for the Believe 271 Foundation.
This foundation was founded in February 2014 to raise money for an Oneida County Fire Coordinator Car 271, Brian McQueen who was fighting a battle with cancer. He graciously turned down this money in hopes that it would start and grow a foundation to help other firefighters who also have taken ill. We've gifted over $315,000, 93 grants to firefighters and ladies auxiliary who are struggling with cancer and life threatening illnesses since 2014!
The Old Forge Fire Company is taking all proceeds from this event and donating them to the Believe 271 Foundation to help them help other firefighters and ladies auxiliary members that have become ill.
